Syrian born, retired doctor, Dr. Adel B. Korkor, in an effort to raise awareness for the Mental Health crisis in the US, and face his own mental health issues, decides to run & host 50 5K races in 50 consecutive days in all 50 states. Throughout his journey we hear from participants from around the country dealing with the multitude of mental health conditions from suicide, to opioid addiction, lack of access to care, stigma and more. Meet people from all walks of life and hear their stories of suffering and triumph. Unexpectedly, through the thousands of human connections Dr. Korkor makes on his journey, he discovers, for the first time in his life, that he truly feels like an American.
